Why Destiny Christian Academy?
Leading the Next Generation in Righteousness
Although we have many objectives at Destiny Christian Academy, the first is to equip our students to enter into God’s presence. We take time for daily worship, prayer and Bible study in addition to individualized academic learning time and group reading, discussing, journaling and drawing.
How We Are Different
Service Opportunities
Our students love to serve. We serve our community 2-3 times per month at places like Holy Angles, local food pantries and retirement homes.
Hearing God’s Voice
It is important for us all to listen to His voice. At Destiny Christian Academy we make time for this daily.
Hands-on Projects
Our students regularly participate in art, gardening and hands-on science projects.
Mentoring & Tutoring
Our students are poured into and supported by our volunteers who offer weekly one-on-one mentoring and tutoring.
Reading Partners
We help the developing of reading skills by offering one on one reading partners as needed.
Small Environment
At Destiny Christian Academy we have a 3:1 student teacher ratio to ensure each student gets the support they need.
Academics
Our students are not confined to a desk all day, they each thrive on their own an individualized core curriculum.
